The Aggie win marked the program's third-consecutive win over MU, after sweeping the Tigers in the 2022-23 season.

MU led by as many as nine points in opening minutes of the first half, however, the Aggies climbed back into it, taking a five-point lead into halftime.

In the second half, guard Tamar Bates found himself in some foul trouble early, so Gates had to lean on fellow guards East and Nick Honor to lead the scoring attack. That duo combined for 17 second half points, however, it was not enough.

Bates, once again, led the team in scoring with 16 points. East was right behind him with 15, total.

Mizzou struggled to find an answer for Texas A&M's Wade Taylor IV, on Tuesday. He tallied a game-high 19 points, along with six rebounds and three assists.

Up next - Gates and company will hit the road again. MU and South Carolina will meet for the second time this season on Saturday, Jan 27. Tip off is slated for noon central time.
