Sunday Sit-down with PowerMizzou’s Drew King

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

ABC 17 Sports Director Nathalie Jones brought on PowerMizzou's Drew King in this week's edition of Sunday Sit-down.

The pair talked about the Tiger men's basketball team's rough start to SEC action, including the group's overtime loss to South Carolina, on Saturday.

"So far it kind of feels like Mizzou can either be good on offense or good on defense, but it has struggled to do both in the same game," King said. "They're struggling to find a good balance between both ends of the floor and so that's kind of where they're coming up short in these games."

Head coach Dennis Gates and company are now at the .500 mark, 8-8, on the season and still winless in conference play. MU will try to notch that first SEC victory on the road against Alabama on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
