Two people arrested for DWI after one was hit by truck

MORGAN COUNTY (KMIZ)
Two people have been arrested for driving while intoxicated after a crash in Morgan County early Friday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Everglade Road just past Echo Road in Sunrise Beach at 1:19 a.m. on Friday.

The crash report says a 2004 Doge 4500 was stopped when the driver, Bryan Baker, 37, of Illinois, got out and the truck started to roll forward.

Ashley Baker, 34 of Illinois moved from the passenger seat to try to control the truck but was unsuccessful and the truck hit Bryan.

According to troopers he was taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.

Online arrest reports from the Highway Patrol state that Bryan Baker was arrested for DWI one hour later while Ashley was not arrested for DWI until 3:15 a.m.
