Route J in Audrain County closed due to deadly crash investigation

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A deadly crash in Audrain County will have part of a road closed for an unknown amount of time.

Missouri State Highway Patrol posted on X on Wednesday morning about a rollover crash blocking Route J, east of Route B near Laddonia.

Troopers said a semi-truck was the only vehicle involved.

The driver died at the scene, according to the post.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Both directions of the road are closed according to the MoDOT Traveler Map. The agency said Route J between the Routes 19/54/J roundabouts and Route B is closed for an unknown amount of time.

 Sgt. Kyle Green with MSHP told ABC 17 News the weather is slowing down the investigation process.
