Columbia seeks comment on housing and development needs at Jan. 11 public hearing

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The City of Columbia will hold a public hearing 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11 in rooms 1A/1B of city hall.

The City estimates it will receive about $1 million in Community Development Block Grant and $600,000 in HOME funds in fiscal year 2024, according to a press release from the city.

The purpose of the hearing is to receive resident input in identifying housing and community development needs within the community. Any comments will be considered by the Housing and Community Development Commission, according to the press release.
