University of Missouri to host the 2025 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championship finals
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Collegiate student-athletes from across the country will make their way to Columbia in a few years.
The NCAA announced yesterday the University of Missouri is set to host the 2025 Men's and Women's Cross Country Championship finals.
That will happen at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in south Columbia.
Sports Sales Supervisor with the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau Zach Franklin says he expects the finals to create a positive economic impact.
Sports Sales Supervisor with the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau Zach Franklin says: "All these visiting schools, coming, coming to Columbia to stay in your hotels, eat your restaurants. Not only the athletes, but all the parents and there will definitely be an economic impact."
Mizzou was also selected to host the 2024 wrestling championship finals at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.
