13-year-old boy seriously injured in Phelps County ATV crash

PHELPS COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 13-year-old boy from Rolla suffered serious injuries Friday in an ATV crash in Phelps County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash. The crash occurred on Route HH about three miles north of Rolla.

The child was not named in the report. The crash occurred as the boy attempted to make a right turn. The ATV skid and hit a tree, according to the report.

The boy was flown to University Hospital in Columbia, according to the report. He was not wearing a helmet.
