One person burned after oxygen tank explodes inside Newburg home

A  person was hurt after an oxygen tank exploded inside of a Newburg home on Thursday afternoon. 

The Doolittle Rural Fire Protection District said its crews responded around 1:15 p.m. to the home, which is off of Cook Street. 

One person was treated for burns to their face but their condition is unknown. 

There was no fire and no damage to the home. 

Investigators have not released what caused the oxygen tank to explode.
