Columbia sportswear store prepare for Chiefs win

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to face off against the Philadelphia Eagles for Super Bowl LVII, stores in Columbia are preparing to stock Chief's Championship gear if they win.

Rally House Columbia, located on Broadway in downtown, said they are prepared for the fans the win could bring.

Rally House Store Manager Krissy Neal, who's been with Rally House for a while, told ABC 17 News it's a certain internal process to prepare for events like the Super Bowl and feels the fans will be pleased.

The store told ABC 17 News, following a Chiefs win and the gear arrival, they will open at 8 a.m. for the rest of the week for people to come and buy championship items.

"We're anticipating getting our championship gear Monday afternoon, Tuesday morning. So unfortunately I don't anticipate it being here Sunday night," Krissy Neal said, "I'm not exactly sure what styles we are getting all I know is we're going to be getting in plenty of styles, shirts, koozies, glasses hats, all kinds of things will be coming in throughout the week".

Neal says once they have the gear on hand,  they will have extra members staffed along with a section for people to easily come in, grab championship items and leave.

The store says they anticipate Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahome's items to be the top sellers outside of the championship items themselves.

Unfortunately if the chiefs don't get the win on Sunday, the gear is sent back to the vendor and they decide where it goes next.

Rally House says fans can call the store to check to see if the gear has arrived or look for the announcement on the Rally House Facebook.
