Three-car crash blocks traffic in Jefferson City for 30 minutes

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A busy intersection in Jefferson City has reopened a crash that left three people injured.

Around 11:30 Sunday morning, Jefferson City police responded to a three car crash at the intersection of West Truman and the Highway 50 East off ramps.

Kristin Sills, 46, took a left turn in front of Andrea Jones -- and the two cars collided, according to a police report. Sills continued to turn her car and hit 53-year-old Beth Berhorst.

Sills and jones were taken to the hospital by ambulance; Jones appeared to have a broken arm and sills and her passenger sustained minor injuries, according to the report. Berhorst and her passenger were uninjured.
