HARRISBURG, Mo. (KMIZ)

Boone County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man Tuesday afternoon after a chase in the northern part of the county.

Davy Rasa, 29, of Columbia, is accused of resisting arrest and two misdemeanor crimes - Boone County prosecutors charged him Wednesday.

Sheriff's department spokesman Sgt. Brian Leer said Wednesday deputies spotted Rasa driving a blue Chevrolet SUV without license plates on Wade School Road around 1:13 p.m.

Leer said deputies pulled Rasa over on Colchester but he drove away from the scene.

Deputies chased Rasa across northwest Boone County, according to Leer's statement, until he lost control of the SUV and rolled it over in the 4900 block of W. Wolfe Road.

Leer said Rasa had multiple arrest warrants including one for resisting arrest in Boone County and two others for drug-related crimes.

According to online court documents, Rasa's bond was set at $25,000.
