Runaway Fulton detainees back in custody

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

The three juveniles that escaped a Fulton detention center last weekend are back in custody, according to Fulton Police.

The Fulton Police said in a FaceBook post that Jefferson City Police helped them locate and detain the three missing juveniles.

Three juvenile detainees fled from the Division of Youth Services custody in Fulton last weekend, according to local law enforcement. The Callaway County Sheriff's Office assisted in the search.

The Callaway Sheriff's Office suspects the three juveniles stole a car in Fulton and abandoned it in Jefferson City during their escape. The three were previously charged with burglary and motor vehicle theft, according to the sheriff's office.
