QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should Columbia regulate short-term rentals?

The City of Columbia has been considering regulation of short-term rental properties for a while now.

The city held a public hearing Thursday for residents to comment on the proposal, which would limit how often residences can be rented out on services such as VRBO and AirBnB.

Any new regulation would have to pass both the Planning and Zoning Commission and Columbia City Council.

Do you think the city should regulate short-term rentals? Vote in the poll.
