OUTAGE UPDATE: Power restored for hundreds of Water and Light customers

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE: Columbia Water and Light's public outages map shows all city customers have had their power restored early Wednesday morning.

The map showed all of the outages were resolved before 5:30 a.m.

ORIGINAL: Shortly before 2:30 a.m., at least 187 customers were without power in north Columbia. The outage map showed eight outages at this time.

The number of customers affected more than tripled by 3:50 a.m. At that time, the outage map showed one outage in central Columbia that started at 1:38 a.m.

The map showed that a crew had been assigned to the outage.
