MidiCi suddenly shut its doors Sunday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company posted to its Instagram and Facebook Sunday night, announcing it was closing its doors within hours.

The message was posted just hours before the restaurant closed at 8 p.m. Sunday.

The message to MidiCi's more than 1,200 followers thanked customers for the three years it has been open on Broadway in downtown Columbia. The restaurant recently changed from a counter-service establishment to full-service with a separate bar.

The Columbia location was the only one in Missouri. The closest MidiCi is now located in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
