Correction: California-Electric Vehicles story

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — In a story published April 13, 2022, about California’s electric vehicle regulations, The Associated Press erroneously reported the rules are expected to lower greenhouse gas emissions annually by 384 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent from 2026 to 2040. That number is the cumulative emissions savings over that time period, not the annual amount.
