Two Springfield men arrested for violence at the U.S. Capitol

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KMIZ)

The FBI field office out of Kansas City is reporting two Springfield men were arrested for their roles in the violence at the Jan. 6 events at the U.S. Capitol.

According to the release, Michael Aaron Quick and Stephen Brian Quick surrendered to the FBI Friday morning.

Michael Aaron Quick was arrested on federal charges of restricted buildings or grounds; unlawful activities on capitol grounds; disorderly conduct; parading and demonstrating in the capitol building.

Stephen Brian Quick was arrested on federal charges of restricted buildings or grounds; unlawful activities on capitol grounds; disorderly conduct; parading and demonstrating in the Capitol building.

This story will be updated when court documents are released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.
