One injured, one in custody after shooting in Holts Summit
UPDATE 5 p.m.: Prosecutors charged Samuel Schroeder in connection with the shooting in Holts Summit late Thursday night.
According to court documents, a witness identified Schroeder as the man who shot Gage Trammell.
Trammell was helping a woman move her things out of a home she shared with Schroeder. Schroeder allegedly became angry, concerned that she and Trammell were taking items that belonged to him. Documents said Schroeder came out of the home with a gun and fired the gun twice at Trammel, striking him. Schroeder is charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
