Centralia woman pleads guilty to assault with plant holder and bowling pin

A Centralia woman pleaded guilty to assault and resisting arrest charges Tuesday.

Angel Marie Anderson, 41, was arrested on May 7 after she threatened to shoot police and kill her neighbor. Centralia police said Anderson threw a large object at her neighbor “in the manner as a person would throw a spear with the intent of impaling someone.”

Police Chief Larry Dudgeon told ABC 17 News in May that she threw a plant holder containing two large hooks at her neighbor before she threatened cops arriving at the scene and swung a bowling pin at an officer’s head.

In court Tuesday, Anderson pleaded guilty to third-degree assault and resisting arrest.

She had been arrested originally on charges of first-degree assault, first-degree assault on an officer, two counts of armed criminal action, trespassing, resisting arrest and marijuana possession.

Judge Deborah Daniels sentenced Anderson to six months in jail for each charge, then suspended the sentences for two years of supervised probation and two years of unsupervised probation.
