RECALL ROUNDUP: Eye ointments, hydrogen peroxide and Jeep Grand Cherokees recalled
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Eye ointments sold at Walmart and CVS
The Food and Drug Administration has recalled four eye ointments sold at Walmart and CVS.
The recalls comes as the FDA says eye ointments were produced at a facility that may have been unsanitary. The affected eye ointments include Equate's General and Stye Lubricant Eye Ointments, along with CVS Health Lubricant Eye Ointment and AACE Pharmaceuticals Lubricant PM Ointment.
All four recalled products have expiration dates of February 2024 and September 2025.
The FDA is urging users to stop using the eye ointments immediately and to contact a doctor if you experience any issues.
Nutraceutical's Heritage Store hydrogen peroxide
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled Nutraceutical's Heritage STore Hydrogen Peroxide Winter mint and Eucalyptus Mouthwash.
The agency recalled the mouthwash due to the packaging not being child-resistant which poses the risk of poisoning if kids swallow the product.
The recalled mouthwash was sold at several stores nationwide and online, including Amazon, from October 2010-December 2023.
If you own the recalled mouthwash you're urged to keep it in a safe location out of reach and sight of children and contact the company for a free replacement product.
Jeep Grand Cherokees
Automaker Chrysler has recalled more than 338,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees.
The company says parts of the front suspension could come loose, which puts drivers at risk of losing control of the vehicle.
Chrysler also says drivers of the affected vehicles may notice unusual nosies when going over bumps due to the issue.
The affected vehicles are Jeep Grand Cherokees' from the 2021-23 model years and also includes the Longer Grand Cherokee "L."
Owners of these vehicles will be notified by mail in mid-April
