COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) -

A car crash blocked northbound lanes of Paris Road in northeast Columbia on Wednesday morning.

Boone County Joint Communications sent an alert just after 9 a.m. that first responders had blocked the northbound lanes of Paris Road near Brown Station Road. Columbia Police Department spokesperson Brian McNeill told ABC 17 News the crash involved two cars and EMS responded to the scene.

An ABC 17 News reporter said the lanes reopened around 9:30 a.m. Tow trucks took at least two cars from the scene.
