Southeastern Conference releases men’s basketball opponents for 2024-25 season
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou men's basketball team got an idea of what their conference slate will look like for the 2024-25 campaign, on Monday. The SEC released all of the conference opponents for each team.
Conference play will tip off on Jan. 4, 2025 and run through March 8. Each team in the Southeastern Conference team will play the other 15 teams at least one during league play. Three teams will be played a second time during the schedule – two which are permanent opponents and one that will change each year.
Time, dates and TV information will all be released as it gets closer to the season.
It is a familiar list of teams for Mizzou basketball, with the exception of two newcomers. The Tigers will face Oklahoma in a home-and-away series in the Sooners' debut SEC season. As for the other newcomer - MU will travel to Austin to meet the Texas Longhorns for one game in 2025.
Mizzou will also face Arkansas and Vanderbilt in home-and-away series in the 18-game league slate. The Tigers' permanent rivals will be the Razorbacks and the Sooners.

The conference also announced that its tournament will return to Nashville, Tenn., as Bridgestone Arena will host the event from March 12-16, 2025.
