COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Eli Drinkwitz and his coaching staff have landed two more commits to its 2025 recruiting class. Dante McClellan and Joshua Lewis are now the third and fourth high school prospects respectively to commit to Mizzou's next class.
McClellan was the first prospect to commit to the Mizzou Football program on Monday, choosing the Tigers over Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisville and others. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound linebacker is rated as a four-star recruit by both On3 and Rivals. The Ohio native is ranked as the No. 14 prospect in the state and the No. 39 linebacker in the nation, according to On3.
Just hours later, Lewis announced his commitment to the Tigers over Tulane, California, Georgia Tech and several other programs. On3 and 247 Sports both rate the 6-foot-4, 245-pound recruit as a three-star prospect. The edge rusher from Louisiana is considered the 39th-best recruit in the state and the 59th-best prospect at his position, based on On3's rankings.
Lewis and McClellan join Matt Zollers and Jason Dowell as the four prospects who have committed to Mizzou's 2025 recruiting class. According to 247 Sports, The Tigers currently have the No. 56 ranked class in college football.
