Former Mizzou stars showcase skills at Pro Day
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Stephens Indoor Practice Facility was home to NFL scouts and hopefuls on Friday morning, as former Tiger stars put their skills on display.

MU had 16 former players participate in the 2024 edition of Pro Day. You can find a full list of those players below.

For guys like Schrader, Foster, Robinson, Abrams-Draine, Hopper, Carlies and Rakestraw, it wasn't their first time in front of NFL scouts. Each of those guys earned an invite to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, but used another opportunity to show their skillset.
Carlies said that he hoped to show teams his quickness and ability to change direction. In the past, he said he's heard that could be one of his weaknesses, but felt good about what he displayed on Tuesday.
"I feel like today went well," he said. "It was a day for everybody to come out here and prove to everybody why we had such a successful season. A lot of our seniors and captains came out here and we proved what we needed to. Myself, in general, I felt like I had a good day. I proved a lot more to coaches."

Schrader also came into Pro Day with a goal of proving more. He got injured at the NFL Combine, but spent the following weeks getting healthy. He said coming back to Mizzou and working with the training staff was critical and his ability to perform on Pro Day.
Overall, the running back added that he's been getting good feedback from scouts he's talked to.
"I think people will recognize that I'm a football player and they see it. Everything that I've heard is that they really enjoyed watching me during the season," he said. "They thought I'm a really good running back and that's the greatest compliment I can get."

All of the Mizzou alums that worked out on Tuesday will wait to hear the fate during the NFL Draft. The first round will be Thursday, April 25. The Draft will wrap up on Saturday, April 27.
