Four Rolla children suffer minor injuries in Crawford County crash

PHELPS COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Four children and a woman from Rolla were brought to Phelps Health on Thursday after suffering injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Crawford County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

The crash occurred on Route ZZ about five miles west of Cuba, Missouri, the report states.

The report states a 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport – driven by Autym Malone, 24 – was heading eastbound when it went off the left side of the road, hit a guard rail and overturned.

Four children – two boys younger than a year old, a 3-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy – suffered minor injuries, according to the report. All four children and Malone were brought to Phelps Health by ambulance.

The children had minor injuries, while Malone had moderate injuries, according to the report.

Malone was wearing a seatbelt and the children were in car seats, according to the report.
