Tracking temperatures dropping throughout the day

TODAY: I'm tracking temperatures starting in the mid to upper-30s as winds blow out of the north at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. These strong northerly winds will be the reason why the high temperature is observed in the morning hours of today. Through the afternoon, temperatures will drop into the low to mid-20s. Light flurries are possible, but no impactful accumulation is expected.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking temperatures continuing to drop, getting into the upper-teens by the end of the night. Winds will begin to calm, blowing out of the north at 5-10 mph through the overnight hours. Cloud cover and potential flurries will also exit the region.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a cool but sunny start to the week as temperatures warm into the mid-30s by Monday afternoon. Tuesday will be much warmer as breezy southerly winds take over the area, resulting in temperatures warming into the low 50s by the afternoon hours. This warm weather won't last long, as two systems bring colder air with them. This first system is expected on Wednesday, bringing a low chance (20%) of rain with it. The second is expected on Thursday, bringing even colder air and a low potential (20%) to observe snow. Temperatures will plummet by the end of the week, potentially seeing single-digit weather walking out the door Saturday morning.
