Tracking scattered rain today, drier this weekend

THIS AFTERNOON: Scattered rain continues on and off throughout the day, with dry time in between. Highs are limited to the 70s under clouds and rain.

TONIGHT: Rain winds down overnight, but clouds linger. Lows fall into the upper 60s.

EXTENDED: Sunshine will boost temperatures back into the mid-80s on Saturday and Sunday with only spot chances for storms. Almost all will stay dry this weekend. Near-daily rain chances return next week as temperatures float in the upper mid to upper 80s. The wettest day will likely be Wednesday, and rain peters out toward the end of the week.
