Tracking a cloudy weekend with spotty rain chances tomorrow

TODAY: The weekend starts cloudy and mild with highs near average in the upper 60s. No rain is expected through early Saturday night.

TOMORROW: Spotty showers return Sunday morning and persist into the early afternoon, keeping temperatures a degree or two cooler in the mid to upper 60s. Sunday dinner plans look dry with possible peeks at the sunset.

EXTENDED: Storm chances increase on Monday and Tuesday next week, where an ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day has been issued for the threat of severe storms. A cold front could produce two rounds of storms, the first on Monday, then again on Tuesday, depending on how long the front lingers. More rain chances are expected through midweek, adding up to 1 to 2 inches of rainfall or more.
