Camden County deputies searching for missing elderly woman

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Authorities are searching for a missing woman who has Alzheimer's.

The Camden County Sheriff's Office issued an endangered SILVER advisory Wednesday night for Elaine Nelson, 74.

According to a news release, she left her home on Skyview Drive in Roach around 5:10 p.m. Investigators said they do know where she was heading. She left in a Maroon 2008 Ford Tauras with a Missouri license plate, JF3Z5B.

Authorities described Nelson as a white woman with grey hair and blue eyes. She is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She was reported wearing a red sweatshirt with jeans and tennis shoes.

The Camden County Sheriff's Office asks that anyone who sees Nelson or her vehicle call 911 or the sheriff's office at 573-346-2243.
