One man with serious injuries following Johnson County crash

JOHNSON, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said one man is in the hospital with serious injuries, following a single vehicle crash in Johnson County.

35-year-old Kyle Bowman was traveling along Route 50 near County Road 821 just after 10 p.m. Friday night, when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and hit two signs.

The car then continued through the median and eventually hit a tree and started to overturn, before coming to a stop on the drivers side.

According to a MSHP Crash Report, Bowman was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The report states Bowman was transported by Johnson County EMS to Research Hospital.
