More than 2,000 customers without power in Ashland

ASHLAND, Mo. (KMIZ)

An electrical outage affecting Ashland left more than 2,000 customers without power for a brief time Friday.

Ameren Missouri's outage map showed that 2,050 customers did not have power as of 12:45 p.m. The map said "supply interruption" caused the outage first reported at 12:12 p.m.

The map showed power restored to all but one customer in the Ashland area by 1:30 p.m.

ABC 17 News left a message with Ameren to find out what may have caused the outage.
