Two people are recovering from moderate injuries after a crash on I-70 in Boonville.

It happened around 10 a.m. Saturday morning near the West Ashley Road exit.

Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports say 36-year-old Andrain Wiley of Kansas City was traveling at a high rate of speed in a Chevy Trailblazer when he hit the back of 53-year-old Anthony Plaster's Jeep. Wiley then swerved off the right side of the road and flipped.

Both Plaster and his passenger, 52-year-old Alison Plaster were transported to University Hospital with moderate injuries.

Wiley walked away uninjured.

All three involved were wearing their seat belts.
