Pulaski County Sheriff injured in a motorcycle wreck Friday morning

RICHLAND, Mo. (KMIZ)

Pulaski County Sheriff Jimmy Bench was injured after a motorcycle wreck on Rupert Road five miles south of Richland.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the motorcycle started to skid and overturned.

Bench reportedly has moderate injuries from the wreck, he was wearing a helmet.

In a social media statement from the department,

Sheriff Jimmy Bench would like to express his heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support and prayers for his speedy recovery from the community following his motorcycle accident earlier today.
