A Fulton man is charged after stolen items were found in his possession.

According to court documents, a confidential informant told police that Jason Mushrush had a stolen John Deere Gator UTV and a John Deere zero turn lawn mower on his property on the 1700 block of County Road 340 in Fulton.

Police report the stolen items and a utility trailer were stolen out of Mexico on Nov. 13 of last year.

While investigating the stolen items on Mushrush's property, a deputy reports finding a spray-painted UTV with a VIN sticker peeling off. According to court documents, the deputy found the actual in number and took Mushrush into custody.

A deputy then searched the property and found the lawnmower hidden under a tarp behind a shed.

Officials also report finding the stolen utility trailer but Mushrush claims it was brought back to the property without his knowledge.

Mushrush is charged with two counts of 1st-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and stealing - $750 or more.

Mushrush's arraignment is scheduled for April 9.
