More details emerge in a wreck and robbery in Moberly

MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Feb. 5, Moberly police responded to the scene of a wreck and a reported robbery near Rothwell Park.

According to an initial report from Moberly Police, an F-250 rear-ended a maroon sedan. The driver of the truck told police the driver of the sedan robbed him at gunpoint of money and a gun.

According to court records, Ethan Polk told police that he was involved in a robbery and was trying to get the license plate number of the vehicle he crashed into.

Police say in court documents, they learned that Polk was allegedly at the park to sell marijuana to the people in the other vehicle.

Moberly police report locating the driver of the sedan and a passenger, taking them both into custody.

Polk is facing charges of 1st-degree assault. Polk has a $25,000 bond set.
