One person arrested during Camden County counterfeit money investigation

Camden County Sheriff's deputies arrested Amber Menke, 29, during a counterfeit money investigation.

On Tuesday, Camden County Sheriff's deputies responded to a business where a woman was accused of trying to pass a suspected counterfeit bill.

According to the press release, the bill was counterfeit.

Counterfeit bill

The sheriff's department first warned the public about possible counterfeit bills on Tuesday.

Deputies arrested Amber Menke, 29, of Camdenton.

According to deputies, they found counterfeit bills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and suspected meth at Menke's property.

Menke is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, forgery, possession of marijuana, stealing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Her bond is set at $50,000 surety.

Menke also has outstanding warrants out of Miller County.
