Warmer weekend in store

SATURDAY: We will start the day with some sunshine but will see increasing cloud cover move in into the afternoon hours. Our high temperatures are trending downward leaving us in the mid to low 40's for our high today.

SATURDAY NIGHT: The cloud cover will linger overnight helping us stay a bit warmer. Lows in the upper 20's.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny with highs in the mid- 40's.

EXTENDED: The start of the work week will require an umbrella because rain is going to settle in Monday and linger throughout the day. Depending on what time this rain system exits the viewing area, we may see a flurry or two on the trailing end but we will not see impact or accumulation of those flurries. Tuesday looks partly sunny during the day but we also have a slight chance of a rain/snow mix as a cold front slides through but this system is weak so chances still remain low for this precipitation. After Tuesday we stay dry for the rest of the work week however temperatures will not make it out of the 30's for highs until the weekend.
