Mizzou women’s basketball loses on the road to No. 15 Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Mizzou women's basketball team struggled on the road in a loss to (15) Texas A&M, 72-53.

The loss drops Mizzou's record to 5-15 (2-5 SEC).

The Tigers struggled to slow down the A&M offense that saw four players finish in double figures. Mizzou shot just 32.7 percent from the field and turned the ball over 14 times during the game.

Despite the final result, Aijha Blackwell had a strong night leading the Tigers with 18 points and seven rebounds. Jordan Chavis scored 12 points, and Hayley Frank scored 10 points.

Mizzou returns to Columbia to face (12) Kentucky on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
