Moniteau County Sheriff: No danger to public after overnight shooting

An official with the Moniteau County Sheriff's Department confirmed an overnight shooting.

Sheriff Tony Wheatley said they have the shooting suspect in custody and there is no danger to the public.

ABC 17 News confirmed it happened in Tipton.

Authorities could not confirm any other details of the shooting. They said they expect to send out a news release later today.

ABC 17 News crews are en route to Tipton.
