North Columbia home struck by gunfire Sunday

A home was struck by gunfire early Sunday morning, according to the Columbia Police Department.

A spokesperson for the department said officers responded to reports of shots fired around 2 a.m. Sunday in the 5300 of Currituck Lane.

Police say one residence was damaged and officers found 8 shell casings.

There were no reported injuries. Police did not immediately release any suspect information.
