Storms leave hundreds without power Tuesday night

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) Hundreds of people throughout mid-Missouri continue to deal with power outages after severe storms swept through the area Tuesday night. Multiple counties like Camden, Morgan, Miller and Benton are still awaiting power restoration after storms ran through the area from about 10PM to midnight. Camden County is currently seeing about 20 outages

WEATHER ALERT DAY: Snow tapering off across mid-Missouri, cold air to cause morning impacts

SYNOPSIS: Snow continues to rotate out of mid-Missouri this evening. Most snowfall will exit our eastern counties by 7pm. Snow will continue to taper off with most of the area seeing 1-3″ total storm accumulation by sundown. In addition to the snowfall, temperatures stay below freezing with winds gusting up to 30 mph at times.
