Chiefs prepare for opening night

MIAMI (KMIZ)

The Chiefs will take the podium first at opening night at Marlins Park.

The Kansas City players will meet with the media from 6:10 p.m. to 7:10 p.m. San Francisco will take its turn from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Both teams arrived in Miami on Sunday.

There will be lots of topics to discuss, including the recent passing of NBA legend Kobe Bryant. Several players from both team spoke out on social media Sunday about his tragic death.

ABC 17's Ashley Strohmier and ABC 17 Sports Director Andrew Kauffman will bring you live coverage from opening night starting at 5 p.m. on ABC 17.

Super Bowl LIV is less than a week away. The Chiefs will play the 49ers on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 5:30 p.m. You can watch the game on Fox 22, KQFX.
