Mizzou WBB snaps six game skid with win over Vanderbilt

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A trip home, to Mizzou Arena, was just what the doctor ordered for the Tiger women's basketball team. Head coach Robin Pingeton and company took down Vanderbilt 86-69 to break up a six-game losing streak on Thursday night.

Four Tigers got into double digit scoring in the win, including Hayley Frank, Lauren Hansen, Sara-Rose Smith and Ashton Judd. Frank and Hansen combined for 47 points in the win, with 25 and 22 points, respectively.

With the win, Mizzou improved to 15-8 on the season and 4-6 in SEC play.

Up next - MU will stay home to host Alabama on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 4 p.m.
