Charges dropped after Missouri man accused of threatening victims with nude photos

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE: Charges in this case were dropped before the matter went to trial.

ORIGINAL: A Cuba, Missouri man was booked Thursday into the Boone County Jail on allegations that he threatened to post nude photos and videos of other people.

Prosecutors charged George Bourne, 29, last week with one count of threatening to disseminate private sexual images, a Class E felony. Bond was set at $20,000.

Bourne is accused of recording two people's exposed bodies without their knowledge during a video chat in October, according to a probable cause statement. Boune allegedly offered to pay the victims to chat with him.

Bourne told one of them he would delete the video if the victim met with him for sexual activity, according to the statement. He told another victim he would post the video to a pornography website if the victim did not continue to chat with him, the statement said.

Also in October, Bourne allegedly told a third victim that he would pay for nude photos, then threatened to post them online instead of paying.

Bourne was not on the Boone County Jail roster late Friday.

No hearing has been set in his case and he has no lawyer listed in online court records.
