COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 30-year-old Fulton man died Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 54 in Callaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Cody Evans died when his 2006 Ford Ranger went off the left side of the road and overturned, throwing Evans from the truck. Evans was pronounced dead at University Hospital.

The crash happened on Highway 54 westbound near Kingdom City.

Evans was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
