COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A settlement has been reached in a wrongful death lawsuit over a 2022 Cooper County crash that killed a Moberly woman.

Randall Hendricks filed the lawsuit in February against Inocente Prisciliano-Miranda, of Sedalia, in the Cooper County Circuit Court. Hendricks is the father of Belinda Hendricks, who was killed in a crash on Sept. 2, 2022, at the 94.4 mile-marker of eastbound Interstate 70, west of Boonville, according to previous reporting.

Traders Insurance Company agreed to pay out $25,000 to the victim’s father and her two children, according to court information filed on Monday.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol report in previous reporting states Prisciliano-Miranda hit Belinda Hendricks while he was driving a 2010 Toyota Prius. She was 29. She was standing on Interstate 70 when she was hit, according to previous reporting.

Court documents claimed that Belinda Hendricks was walking across Interstate 70 and accused Prisciliano-Miranda of negligence.
