The Eldon Police department continues to investigate a bank robbery that happened Monday afternoon. The robbery occurred at Citizens Bank South located on South Business rt 54. When the police arrived, the suspects had already fled the area. There were no injuries reported. The Eldon Police Department is asking for the help of the community.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a call at 4:15 p.m. about the drowning of a four year-old boy. When troopers arrived, the boy was found face down unresponsive in the river. The boy was transported to Mercy hospital in Mountain View, Mo. He was pronounced dead at 5:32 p.m.
