Flood Warning issued June 8 at 9:10AM CDT until June 10 at 3:00AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Grand River near Brunswick affecting Carroll and Chariton Counties.

This product along with additional weather and stream information is
available at www.weather.gov/kc/.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Grand River near Brunswick.

* WHEN…From this morning to late Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS…At 19.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying areas occurs along
the west bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge
about 1 mile west of Brunswick. At 22.0 feet, Low-lying areas along
the east bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge
begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 20.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage just
after midnight tonight.
– Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
