New laws take effect in Missouri

As of New Year’s day, most adults in Missouri can now carry concealed weapons without a permit. That’s according to one of many new Missouri laws taking effect January 1. Another noteworthy law expands the Castle Doctrine. Under the new regulations, all invited house guests–such as babysitters or grandparents–can now use deadly force against intruders.
