COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Police Department said Wednesday a second man has been arrested in connection with a September shooting death.

CPD records show Aaron Harris was arrested around 3 p.m. Wednesday on Grace Ellen Drive in north Columbia. Harris was charged with second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon in the shooting death of E'quan Spain on Sept. 14.

Harris was charged along with Michael Anderson in Spain's death. Court documents say Anderson fatally shot Spain as the men were shooting from a vehicle in September. Investigators believe Harris was driving the car when the shooting happened.

A judge denied bond in Harris' case when charges were filed in September.
